Scope and Content: This series contains material donated by the Tyrone Williams estate following Williams' death in 2024. Most of the material comes from Williams' Cincinnati, Ohio home with a smaller portion being from his apartment in Buffalo, New York. This series includes correspondence, mostly from scrapbooks of postcards, greeting cards and other printed material kept by the poet; annotated books from Williams' personal library; manuscripts; notebooks; research material; and personal items including wall calendars, clippings, ephemera and a small amount of photographs. Material dates from 1972 to 2024 and mostly originates from the United States except for a small amount of international correspondence.
