Arrangement:
The kari edwards collection, circa 1982-2011 comprises approximately 4.6 gigabytes of digital material (approximately 3300 files). The bulk of the collection, a file directory containing 2.7 gigabytes of digital content (approximately 2800 files), was transferred to the Poetry Collection in 2012. The structure of the file directory, folder names, and file names was retained during processing and is replicated in the arrangement of the collection. The remaining portion of the collection, namely audio files, audiovisual recordings of poetry readings, and a series of records on family history, were donated to the Poetry Collection at a later date.Prior to processing in August 2022, the paper materials were housed in folders, arranged roughly by record type. This arrangement has been maintained in processing, new accessions have been added to the collection, reflecting this arrangement. The items have been re-foldered, the order of the folders or the items within folders have not been re-arranged. Subsequent accessions have been filed according to this arrangement.
